Hey!It seems the latest hidden update of GooglePlay Market brought something new:ebooks for sale!
Let’s see what the outcame of the “war of the ebooks” will be, after this (not so) surprising move by Google…

A few days ago, my host warned my that this blog already went twice over the max CPU limit allowed for a free account….which is kind of stupid, since I really don’t think these few lines are SO popular, lately….since they’re threatening of deleting my account, should this happen more than 9 times, I’m seriously thinking of migrating to some other decent place….I’ll keep you posted on this.

Getting back to real life….during the last five years or so, I’ve tried more than 30 RSS readers for windows, starting from Curiostudio’s GreatNews, and now, well….I’m dumping FeedDemon (which I used for less than three months: awfully slow piece of software, IMHO), to get back to “old faithful” GreatNews: how I missed that nimble, freeware app!!
Run get it, it’s Freeware and Open Source too!!

I’ve been trying to get a life,during this last year…more than often without having so much success, yet I tried….I guess I should get back posting something useful, at least each now and then….

I had bought the game a little more than a week ago, but I had not even installed it, due to my chronical lack of time….yesterday night, I sacrificed one hour of sleep to finally try “kingdoms of Amalur, the reckoning”, a quite good third-person RPG, so far….I’ll probably post a full review, as soon as I can find some time to play again….deary deary me…

I just read the feral news: we won’t be getting a fifth season of “the IT Crowd” tv show ….its writer said we might be getting a special one-shot episode this year, though….which will add more rants to my list, probably…. rant:
Anyway….this made me order the full “season 1 to 4″ box set on Amazon….worth every pence!

There are such periods, when all you do is working hard, and all you get is more work on your desk….I’m living one of those periods….drat!

Anyone, out there, to suggest me a decent android keyboard? The default one is really”hellish”:I keep missing letters, mispelling and inavertedly hitting Ws instead of Es…. There must be another way, other than writing in landscape mode….

….you can’t even start to relax properly,’cause when you do… -hey! It’s Monday morning once again….

I spent the last three days trying to figure out a decent way to sync my calendar and agenda (stored on a Google account)…fact is,while the basic android calendar seems to work fine in the “read event from remote” part, hell happens, whenever you add a new task from the phone. Basically, the default calendar stores new tasks scheduled and sends them to Google as “tentative”. This can be a little complicated, when dealing with many events. Also, Mozilla Thunderbird displays those events in a shade of gray, almost unreadable…
Since the stock calendar didn’t provide  a solution, I switched
to calengoo, a payware app, yet a damn good one, probably the only calendar app on the market to properly handle new tasks and sync them as “definite”…and all went well!

I’m just blogging these few lines from my brand new Samsung Galaxy SII…and I have to say: the thing really IS a beauty!!
I’ll post a decent review as soon as I’m done with all the configurations and the obvious rants a migration from nokia to android always brings…
